The Commercial Vacuum Versus the Residential Vacuum

Vacuum cleaners are a great way to get things neat and clean, quickly and easily. There are a number of settings in which a vacuum cleaner can be properly utilized. Some of these settings only require a limited amount of use on the part of the vacuum cleaner itself each week. This is true when it comes to a number of residential homes and other lightly used and trafficked areas. However, there are other times when an area will require over a dozen hours of cleaning, courtesy of a vacuum cleaner, each week. Some of these places include doctor's offices, large department stores in malls and plazas, and schools. These different areas rely on a commercial vacuum cleaner when it comes to making the area tidy, as opposed to the alternative of using a regular vacuum cleaner, and this is true for a number of reasons.

Commercial vacuums are designed to be used on a more regular basis than a residential vacuum cleaner will be used. As a result, the commercial vacuum will be more durable and more reliable. This often also means that the pieces will be heavier, which adds to the general weight and bulk of the vacuums. It is also true that for the most part, commercial vacuums are more expensive than regular grade vacuum cleaners. This is true for a number of reasons, but not the least of which is that the materials that are used in order to establish a more durable and reliable form are more expensive than less robust parts often used in vacuum cleaners that will receive less use on a regular basis. Schools and doctor's offices, as well as other high traffic areas, need to be cleaned virtually every day. This is done to eliminate germs, bacteria and dirt. As a result, the area is left healthy and safe for occupation. The size of these places is what accumulates such a high number of hours when it comes to the usage of these vacuum cleaners. As a result, it is necessary for these types of places to invest in high quality vacuums that are of a commercial design, in order to last longer and create a cleaner and more organized environment. Sometimes, though, vacuums for commercial use have a shorter warranty than other types of vacuum cleaners. This is because of the fact that the manufactures know that these specific types of vacuums will be used much more often than regular vacuums. This problem can sometimes be eliminated by purchasing an extended warranty for the vacuum cleaner for commercial use.

Many people rely on the use of vacuum cleaners, and this need is no less prevalent when it comes to commercial areas. However, when it comes to keeping these larger and more trafficked areas clean, people oftentimes need to rely on vacuum cleaners that are slightly more durable and more powerful than they may be used to implementing in their own homes. This is because the more frequented an area is, the more likely it will be that dirt will gather there. As a result, these places often add into their cleaning regiment a vacuum cleaner of commercial durability and quality.
