The Napolean Gas Grill Performs Well Over Time

It surprises me how many people confuse the terms 'barbeque' and 'grill'. Barbeque' as a food or the process of 'barbequing', which is the process itself of cooking the food that becomes 'barbeque', where very low heat is used. Generally, the addition of smoke is part of the process. This is why many people refer to smoked and slowly cooked meat as barbeque. Grilling, on the other hand, implies cooking meat or other foods on high heat for shorter periods of time. I lived in the South for many years where everyone refers to meats like barbequed brisket as being 'barbeque'. When they say "Let's eat barbeque", they are typically referring to brisket or other meat that is cooked very slowly for several hours. Typically you'll find an assortment of beef brisket, sausage and perhaps some chicken at any Southern barbeque get-together. I like to recreate these Southern favorites for my friends and loved ones here in Maine. My Napolean gas grill comes in handy for this purpose as well as all the other grill experiments with which I come up. One of the nicest things about my Napolean gas grill, though, is the extreme durability. I've had the same grill for over twelve years, but I swear it looks the same as when it was only a few months old. I haven't had to replace any part or have any maintenance or repair work done on it. This is saying a lot since I use it very frequently. In my opinion, durability is one of the most important features that any larger appliance can have. Not only do these types of home purchases tend to cost quite a bit of money, but they are sizeable items that can be a pain to have to replace. I've found it very useful to read reviews and ratings submitted by past customers. After all, who knows more about a grill, the manufacturer giving a sales pitch, or someone who's spent hard earned money on their grill purchase? What's more, this type of consumer oriented site provides you with as much detailed information as you would ever want to have to make a grill purchasing decision. That being said, only you can decide which grill will work best for you. Over time, the Napolean gas grills vary in overall reviews, yet this is one of the best grills that I've ever owned.
