If you have the content, design layout and optimization techniques ready at your end, then you might as well be able to create a professional website. But you just don’t have anything and want a website ready; these packages are just a waste of time and money.

It’s always better to hire a web development firm to create a customized website for you with a good content management system that’ll help you maintain it.

They are not actually Easy to Use

Service providers usually show you their ‘Word style interface’ and demonstrate how easy it is to use. However, with time you will want to upgrade your website and put in more columns and images and then all the promised ‘easiness’ would be no more. As a consequence, you will have to shell out lots of money to alter the layout.

You don’t actually Own the Website

The ownership of the website is quite an issue with template based web solutions. Until you have built the website on your own, there is no way you could claim it. You would only have the right to use it.

If you really want a professional website for you company or business and call it your own property, you should rather hire the services of a web development company. Template solutions offer no such privilege.

They actually Charge for Excess Data

There is no dearth of hosting services available on the internet. And they tempt you with the storage space too. But the minute your stuff exceeds an inch more, there will be tremendous ‘extra charges’ getting implied on you. Adding more data is a natural consequence of a successful business and paying increased tariff will just decrease your profit margin

They have limited creativity

Just as it is essential for you to know your target audience, so it is important for your website to cater to them. An ideal business website should appeal to its users and make them feel at home.

Btu this is not the case with template solutions. They have a standard design layout and colors that you seldom can alter. This deceives the whole purpose of optimizing the website for its users.
