The Secret Power of Words

Do you see the power of words? Words are extremely powerful. Words said with conviction (i.e. emotion) have the power to change the course of history. How else could men such as Jesus or Buddha or Mohammed or Krishna or Moses or Abraham have had enough power to have religions established just from the power of the words that they spoke? How else could men such as Hitler or Caesar or Genghis Khan have had enough power to persuade tens of thousands of their fellow humans to follow their words into battle for the ideals that were spoken by them? Words. Words that came from thoughts. Words that took the intention of a thought from the interior world of our thinking to the external world of manifestation. All we are doing here is taking an unmanifested idea and bringing it to the light of day in order to make it real in our reality. The words we speak describe that idea, and the manner in which we speak the words tells the universe about our resolve to bring those thoughts and words from the unmanifest world of the metaphysical to the manifest world of the physical. We are creating. Have you ever thought of yourself as a creator? Or have you been too busy sleepwalking through life and doing things as a reaction to what life has thrown at you from out of the blue? What would you say if I told you that you are creating right now? In this very instant. In this nano-second. Every thought is creative and you are going through a whole bunch of thoughts as you read an article such as this. Life is a process. It is a process of continuous creation. Life is a process of continuous creation that cycles around this core concept of our beingness, and that core concept is love. We are viewing and experiencing love from every possible perspective and that perspective keeps changing from nano-second to nano-second. Pretty exciting, isn't it? And talk about unlimited. There are no limits to this eternal quest to know ourselves and thereby know love. That's why God gave us these unbelievable (actually, totally believable when you live consciously) powers of creation that we all possess. You are creating all the time. You either know this in your consciousness or you don't. It doesn't matter. You are still creating all the time. The beauty lies in the knowledge that you possess this power and can therefore create your life to be in alignment with the vision that you choose for yourself. Sleepwalkers have a vision of where they want to be but they have no idea how to get there except by believing the words of others to tell them what to do. All too often these words are told to them by the television. My observation and my experience of living this way tells me that this is not serving us. People walking in awareness have a vision of where they choose to be and then consciously move toward that vision by using their powers of creation in a conscious effort to be who they choose to be. They gauge the progress of their journey by going to their feelings for guidance and by consciously asking the question “Does this serve me?" Powerful words indeed, but then again, all words are powerful. That is why you need to be impeccable with the words that come out of your mouth or that you write down as an interpretation of your inner truth.
