The perfect teaching method for your child: the Suzuki Violin Method

No teaching method is as successful as the Suzuki Violin Method. The results of other methods do not even come close to the style of Shinichi Suzuki. The Centenarian who died in 1998 was a famous violin player and a violin teacher, but he also made violins. His teaching method is perfect for children. Children can learn to play the violin the same way as they learn to talk and communicate while they are still little.

Learning to talk is a natural thing and it is just easier and better to learn all these things that come natural while children are still little. Playing the violin can be one of these naturally acquired skills. There is no need to learn how to read first. Children can learn to listen and play. Not all music teachers agreed right from the start that this method is a real success because their opinion was that one cannot learn to play music while not being able to read it.

To ease the transfer to more a more advanced level of violin playing modern day Suzuki Violin instructors are introducing some reading in their lesson plan. Group projects are being encouraged because of the positive influence and motivation that results from it. Mothers and fathers take part in the learning process.

For motivation at home and to ensure that the children practice it is very important that mothers and fathers are involved. They do not have to be violin experts in order to be able to supervise the children at home.

Suzuki Violin is not just another how-to-learn-to-play-the-violin-program. It is the best way to learn to play the violin for any child. It is the most natural way to learn how to play and children will learn it as easy as learning their first language. With this program you will not see a young child trying to handle a grown-up instrument. Often instruments are custom made or they are at least custom fit. Children learn to play in unison at a very young age because of some group projects where their peers are their motivators and they are the motivators of their peers. Performing at a young age and at regular intervals makes them used to yet another aspect that will be important in their future of being a successful violin player. Children who learn to play music at a young age will also excel in academics because the necessary logic will come natural. These children will be used to work with peers long before peer pressure can become an issue. By using the Suzuki Violin method children become talented and well aware of their ability to please a crowd of violin lovers. They will have more than just skills because of the positive environment they studied in.
