By choosing hardwood flooring you are choosing a type of floor covering that will actually increase the value of your home. Some of the other idea out there will not give you these kinds of benefits like wood does. This is a big factor if you plan on moving in the near future. Many people buy a home and then fix it up with the idea of flipping it in the near future. If you are thinking of doing this then go with the ash hardwood flooring for that added bit of value. There is one part of your home that should not have ash hardwood flooring covering it and that is your basement. It is just too cold and damp down there for this type of floorboards.
