Things You Should Never Do To Stay Alive In Google!

Getting rank 1 on Google’s search results can multiply your revenue. Users generally choose from among the first five entries of the search results. Rank 1 being the favorite and the subsequent ones deceasing.

Optimizing your website to get it to the top slots of Google is a daunting task and requires quality time and effort. But in a bid to get there easy many businesses adopt wrong tactics and black-hat techniques. These practices are unscrupulous means that takes little time to be implemented. However, not many realize that Google promptly identifies these and once it does, it bans the website altogether.

Here are some unethical tricks you should avoid lest you want your website taken of from Google directories.

Cloaking
It is the practice of designing a website such that it looks something to the users and something else to the search engines. This is just to redirect viewers to your choice of website by luring them with information they are looking for, which obviously you don’t have.

Caveat: Always works towards building a website with relevant content.

Duplicate Content
Sometimes, business owners do not invest in a professional content writer and choose to lift content from other website and up content for their own website. This requires minimum time and effort and you have readymade text.
However, Google runs a duplicity check on each website that it submitted and checks through the content if it’s already present on the web. And if it does find it, your site may be blocked out altogether.

Caveat: Always hire a professional content writer to generate original and good quality content for you website.

Automated Writing Tools
There are several robots on the internet that write content for you. What they actually do is they copy content from other websites and make minute changes in them like inducing synonyms for certain words, breaking down sentences and so on. But the machines go a little low on common sense and the content they generate seldom makes sound sense.
And Google catches these pretty easily resulting in the dip of your ranking.

Caveat: Always generate original content and steer clear of any such misfortunes.

Link to Bad Neighborhoods
The company you keep matters to Google. No matter how green an apple are you, if Google spots you amongst the rotten lot, you’ll be counted as on of them too.
Spamming websites comprise bad neighborhoods and linking to them will surely cause your page rank to dip down.

Caveat: Always check through the website you are linking to. Just because some website links to you, you have no obligation to link back. Make sure the websites you link to are of good page ranks.

Doorway Pages
There are certain web pages that are optimized for a particular keyword but redirect all visitors to some other intended website. These are called doorway pages. And Google doesn’t wait a second to blacklist the website altogether.

Caveat: Never use such unscrupulous means to lure in visitors. Not only will visitors leave when they get to know they have been tricked but also Google brings to nil all the credibility you have built over the years.
