Thoughts Become Things - Choose the Good Ones

Feel in your heart and soul how that principle is impacting you this moment, this hour, this day, this month, this year -- and -- Understand and imagine how your thoughts become things - Choose the Good Ones -- will impact and affect you in the next moment, next day, next week, next month, next year and Forever into the future. Yes, it is true that what we think about becomes a reality. We attract what we focus on because that is what we intend (want) to happen. Focus brings about reality. The more intense the focus the more we will manifest what we focus on. A True Story Let me share a personal situation about myself.... the problem and the solution. I was taught as a child to manage my personal financial resources and money for current and future needs and desires. Purchase only what you can pay for in cash, save for unexpected emergencies, make sure to pay everyone in full, postpone buying until you have the money, plan and save for your short and long term future needs like retirement. In short, take responsibility for yourself, be accountable, and don't expect others to sacrifice to provide for us. Now I'm in retirement age, expecting to live several decades (genetic in our family). I reviewed my financial resources. Inflation in healthcare and living expenses, and desire for a long, good lifestyle of several decades... It is evident I'm short of financial resources to be fully responsible and accountable for myself over several decades. That awareness kept coming up daily and more often in my thoughts and heart. It became daily a focus that churned in my heart and gut, bringing on worry, fear. I would even wake in middle of night with a churning tummy wondering how I am going to sustain myself and a good lifestyle over the many years. My thoughts became things - feelings of worry, fear, waking at night with a churning tummy. Not a pleasant experience! Easy Solution That Worked For Me - It Will Work for You Too. A wonderful mentor taught me to think and focus on good thoughts which will bring about good things. We all have control over our mind and thoughts. So manifest and use that control -- -- Always be aware of and recognize the harmful thoughts the moment they come. Stop immediately, take a deep breath in, breathe out while voicing an “aahh" sound, releasing this 'bad' thought out of you. Repeat this step a couple or few times, as many as needed to free yourself of the thought. You will feel the internal release of this thought and freedom and openness that comes into your heart. This simple step became a habit. I rarely have the worrisome financial thoughts, and if they do surface, immediately they are gone by breathing them away and turning my thoughts to pleasant things. Other uncomfortable, unpleasant thoughts that arise I handle the same way. This is a beautiful control process to have freedom of choosing our thoughts. Have a pleasant day - Live with pleasant, positive thoughts and intentions.
