Three More Choices in Laminate Flooring

Many flooring companies offer laminate flooring options. You are probably familiar with Armstrong, Alloc and Pergo, but are there other companies that also offer quality products? The answer is, "Yes." Several other companies also offer a wide selection of quality laminate flooring. Here are three that you may want to research further to compare before buying your laminate flooring.

MohawkMohawk laminate floors come in several decorative styles to fit your tastes. Their CrystalShield Finish is durable and easy to maintain. It claims to be resistant to the abrasion and indentions caused by household chemicals, high heel shoes, or other daily uses that may cause scratches or scuffs. Sunlight will not fade the decorative pattern, and it never needs to be waxed. Mohawk is confident in its product, offering a lifetime warranty.

KronotexThis German based company offers a large selection of glueless laminate flooring. Kronotex feels that their product has several advantages because all of their work is completed in house from start to finish. Kronotex assures us that their laminate floors are resistant to impact and abrasion making the floor suitable to used of castors. They also note that their laminate flooring is flame resistant and fade resistant. For those concerned about chemicals, Kronotex uses no harmful chemicals in their production of laminate flooring. They produce comfortable, durable floors in eleven product lines.

MeyerMeyer has five collections with 23 products in laminate flooring to choose from. This subsidiary of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain offers a glueless laminate in 7mm or 8mm collections. With a textured surface, it has a tongue and groove click together installation. A separate underlayment is needed since they do not offer an attached unerlayment feature. Meyer offers a 25-year warranty on wear, fading, stains, and moisture.

Instead of buying from the first flooring company you find, you should do your homework researching the advantages and disadvantages of each company's laminate flooring lines. Some may be more realistic, although more expensive. Others will provide a better warranty or a wider selection of colors and textures. Your retailer may offer several brands of laminate flooring, but it is up to you to find the best deal on the best product.
