Having established that, you must work towards it. e) Increase the servings of fruits and vegetables This will provide you with the required vitamins and fiber along with valuable anti oxidants. They will give you a feeling of fullness and prevent you from gorging on junk, besides being of low calorie value. f) Manage the portion size of your meals Very often you may end up eating more than you wanted to. It is thus imperative to watch how much you are consuming every time you sit at the table and avoid over eating. g) Avoid too much of beverages and aerated waters Soda, coffee and aerated waters do not provide any nutrition and at the same time add up the calories due to the sugar content in them. Stick to eight glasses of water a day and keep your system well hydrated.
