1)Keep your outside space tidy Widen the space and maximise the area by pruning back any overgrown area’s, make sure that if your potential purchasers arrive, the front garden space is empty of any children’s toys, cars, gardening waste, bulk waste and rubbish bags. You may be clearing out all your closets but prospective buyers don’t need to see it. It is mostly the men who recognise how easily maintained the garden space is and having a messy or overgrown garden can really put them off. 2)Make it brighter Where you can, make your outside living space seem more pleasing to the eye by adding some flowers. A simple touch is to buy some pots or maybe a hanging basket and place colourful bright plants and for however long you need it will add a certain appeal. Avoid heavily scented plants as this can be quite personal and the wrong flower could leave a bad lasting impression. The best part of pots or baskets is they are usually relatively inexpensive and you can always take them to a new property. 3)Edging the space The boundary of your garden should be used to impress depending on the size and shape of garden you have. If your house has only a small amount of outside space, camouflaging the boundaries with some climbing plants but not too large can elude the eye to the size and it might be well worth brightening the outside colour through painting. It can remodel the space, but make sure the colour is neutral and works well with the rest of the property’s overall look. If you have a fairly big garden, point out the size, with clearly defined borders making sure that all fencing is well repaired and freshly painted or any brickwork is perfect. 4)The entertainment space If you have a well maintained clearly defined back garden space, use it to your advantage by creating a scene. Have a well maintained and stylish barbeque displayed with garden furniture set out, as if frequently use the space to entertain friends, even if it’s not your personal taste most prospective purchasers are sold on the idea rather than the reality. If you’re showing on a day that’s bright and sunny, offer them a seat and any refreshment when they reach your garden and allow the sun to do the rest. 5)Add something special If you feel something is missing and money is not really a problem then make a real impression by adding a contemporary water feature that is both beautiful and safe for children, it can make the unforgettable feature that enables your house to be better than all of the others in the same price bracket.
