Trampoline Tricks: Rodeo 540 Trampoline
|
Second Step: Begin by performing what I like to call a spin drop Just bounce up and do a full twist, landing the trick on your bottom. Keep doing this, slowly looking higher each time, while still landing on your bottom. When you're ready, do a side ways flip. Keep in mind you do not have to go entirely inverted for this, however try to go upside down. This may be nerve wracking during your first try, however just continue gradually changing from a 360 to your bottom to a side flip to your bottom getting more and more upside down every time. It also helps to get a small bounce and put your hands down on the bed of the trampoline kind of like a cart-wheel, while gradually pull your hands into your body until you've finally got the side flip. Step 3: After you think you're ready, try it! Once you start to feel the trampoline pushing you upwards open your hips up to your right side, let your right shoulder drop and look up, back and to the right. You will go upside down in a rodeo, so be sure to use your chest and core muscles to get plenty of torque on your takeoff to make sure that you get enough rotation. Fourth Step: After you become airborne continue looking up and to the right, and attempt to maintain your hand position in front of your body as best you can. If you don't have much air or simply don't think you'll make it around, then pull your feet in slightly to make yourself flip faster. However, if you have lots of air then you can be pretty straight. With the rodeo, you have to commit 100% to make it around! If you're scared of not landing on your feet then just tuck more in midair and just don't open up in the middle of the trick! Fifth Step: You will be able to spot your landing beginning at about 2/3's of the way around with just enough time to adjust according and land cleanly. You will land opposite from the direction you took off from and will land the rodeo 5 from a sideways position. I hope you do good with your rodeo 540's.
