Try This Organic Fertilizer Lawn Recipe



There are plenty of commercial fertilizer products on the market and many work great but too often there are some terrific home recipes to use. Why not try this organic fertilizer lawn recipe?

Well why not try a few of them until you find the one that works on your lawn? One of the benefits to making up your own lawn fertilizer is the ability to control the level of toxicity. In fact you can completely eliminate it! Here are just a few of my favorite recipes for fertilizing the lawn and controlling weeds and pests.

To Control Weeds On Your Lawn:3 cups of liquid dish soap3 cups of ammonia8 tablespoons of ground tea

Mix and use sprayer to spray. Will cover approx. 3000 square feet.

To Control Thatch On Your Lawn:2 cans of beer3 cups of ammonia1 � cups of liquid dish soap2 cans of coke

Mix and use sprayer to spray. Will cover approx. 3000 square feet.

To Fertilize The LawnAdd 4 Pounds of Epsom salts to any commercial brand of lawn fertilizer to give it more kick. Will cover approx. 2500 square feet.

To Organically Fertilize The Lawn

2 cans of beer2 cups of ammonia2 cups of plain liquid dish soap.2 cups liquid lawn fertilizer2 cups of molasses or corn syrup

Mix and use sprayer to spray. Will cover approx. 5000 square feet.

To Control Lawn Insects

1 cup of Fels Naptha Soap Solution - made by putting the entire bar into an old nylon stocking and placing it into boiling water then Add in 1 cup of baby shampoo.2 cups of any brand antiseptic mouthwash3 cups of chewing tobacco juice**

Mix and use sprayer to spray. Will cover approx. 3000 square feet.

This fertilizer lawn recipe works great and because it's organic you don't have to worry about harming your family pets or children and the insect control formulas will keep your bug population under control. Non toxic gardening is always an option. Why not give it a try?
