Women, too, can have gorgeous looking abs, by doing the best tummy exercises. These exercises do not require trips to the fitness club and they can be done at home. 1. Isometric crunches: for this exercise, you need to exhale, then suck in the stomach and keep it like that for about fifteen seconds, followed by another breathe. It can help if you try to imagine your navel going towards your spine. This exercise helps you holding and tensing your abs, which will result in making them firm. A few repetitions are recommended. Caution: for women with high blood pressure, this exercise can cause spikes in blood pressure, due to the holding of breathe. 2. Rectus abdominis exercise: For this exercise, you need to lie on your back on the floor with the knees bent and your feet on the ground. Keep the knees and feet hip width apart. With the hands on the sides of the head, spread the elbows. Now, with the chin on your chest, try to raise your body from the ground, using the back as leverage. Stay there for a few moments and than get back to the original position. Repeat several times. Caution: when doing this exercise, it is important to avoid using the elbows to help you. You can tell if you perform the exercise wrongly, if your elbows get jutted forwards, while you raise your body from the ground. 3. Sit back exercises: this exercise is meant for those that have trouble doing the previous exercise. From a sitting position on the ground, with bent knees and the feet flat on the ground, cross the arms over the chest and roll the head and shoulders towards the chest. From that position, lean back as much as you can, while keeping the head and shoulders tucked. When you feel the abs contracting, it means that you are on the right path. Stay in that position, until you feel the muscles shaking; now it is the time to get back. 4. Reducing chewing exercises: what does this mean? Well, it means that you cut on those jaw exercises you do when you overeat. You cannot have killer female abs if you carefully tuck them in a layer of fat! Here is how to lose body fat efficiently: There are just some simple rules that you need to apply. Cardio exercises are a must and the healthy heartbeat will help you during workouts. Another rule is to eat healthy and get rid of soda and junk food that put that nasty fat on your belly. Do not resume to just exercises for your tummy, train your whole body in order to maintain it beautiful and healthy. There is more than just a concern about beauty when it comes to building nice looking female abs. The midsection of the body represents our foundation of strength, and a belly that is covered in fat will force the spine to curve, causing a lot of back pains. These exercises will help you look good, but they will also help you build a healthier body. It is advisable to check with your physician whether the exercise routine you want to impose on yourself is too much and what would be the perfect one. Women have more trouble in losing body fat than men do. Doing the right exercises for your tummy will become easier in time, but losing body fat is quite a greater challenge. But, with patience, and by building healthy eating habits, you will succeed in getting those killer abs that you have been dreaming of.
