Twilight Stars Conquer American Magazine Covers

Twilight is the first book in the wildlypopular teen fiction series by American author Stephenie Meyer. Twilight andits three sequels follow thelife of teenager Bella Swan who moves to Forks, Washington and finds her liferadically changed when she falls in love with a vampire named Edward Cullen.

The entire series, known as the Twilightseries, has sold more than 42 million copies worldwide withtranslations into 37 different languages around the world. The four Twilight books were the biggestselling novels of 2008 on the USAToday newspaper bestselling books list.

Stewart wasborn and raised in Los Angeles along with her older brother Cameron. Both herparents have long worked in the entertainment industry so it wasn’t unusualwhen Kristen Stewart began her acting career at age eight.
