Twins - Decorate The Baby Nursery With Pink Twin Comforters

Twin Girls - wow! It's going to be great. Now it's time to get busy on the baby nursery. Make sure to include pink twin comforters. After all what nursery would be complete without?

The nursery is a very important room. Whether your first born, an addition to your family, or an adoption there is something about designing a nursery that's refreshing and exciting.

However, deciding on the theme of the nursery can be a bit of a project. Parents can spend a great deal of time trying to decide what their little girls room should look like and twins mean double the planning.

The best way to start decorating your nursery is to star by purchasing the comforters. You can choose your bedding as part of your theme if you like but I personally love the look of simple pink comforters for twin girls. And then build your room from there.

So what are some common nursery themes?

1. Cartoon Characters
Cartoon characters are endless. So choose your favorite and get busy decorating. Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Cinderella, Spiderman, Barney, Big Bird, Oscar, Lion King, Curious George, and of course there are plenty more.

2. Sports
Okay perhaps your little gal isn't old enough to appreciate the team's mom and dad root for but you can never start their fan careers early enough. So whether hockey, baseball, golf, football, or skating is your sport add rugs, lamp shades, and wallpaper borders to complete your theme.

3. Animals
You can never go wrong with animals. Children love animals, especially baby ones so why not go crazy? Choose sheets, rugs, window coverings, and wall paper. Turn your nursery into a zoo.

4. Whimsical
There are so many whimsical designs you can use to complete your twin girls bedroom. How about some wonderful yellow daisies? Grass green stripes on the walls? Big bold red cat? Whimsical can be so much fun and it's a great way to add design that will grab baby's attention.

When decorating the nursery bring the entire room together. Include bedding, lighting, walls, windows, and change tables, and even rugs. And don't forget about the ceiling. For the first 6 months baby spends most of their time staring at - you guessed it - the ceiling, so why not decorate it?

Bright colors catch baby's attention. Young children are drawn to bright colors so remember that when doing the décor. That said don't make the room too busy overall. One bold wall works well with three tamer walls.

Place a rocker in the nursery and paint it to match your rooms theme. You might also consider adding a small table and chairs. Decorate with wonderful animals and insects. Frogs and bears are always a hit, as are butterflies and caterpillars.

The pink twin comforters you add will look fabulous and keep that little girl feel to the room and why not? Your twin girls need a little feminine touch to go with all the fun décor. Don't forget it!
