Types Of Hot Tub Jets
|
The jets play an integral part in providing a massaging action that will relax, soothe, and stimulate your muscles. Jets are designed to target specific body parts such as the lower back or the neck. Jets can also be set to provide different levels of stimulation by simply adjusting them. Changing the location or the amount of flow from the jet will change the type of massage you receive from the jet. The type of jets that will be most beneficial will depend on what your main goal is. If you are looking for therapeutic use you will want a different jet system then if you are looking more for entertainment. Its only a few years ago that there were few jet options and that a tub with eight jets was considered a real score. Today spas have as many as 200 jets and several different types of jets. 1. Mini JetsThese are smaller and clustered together so that you can position the group to get the effect wanted. They are aggressive and often found in therapy lounge chairs.2. Swirl JetsAre the same size as standard jets and swirl the water in a circular motion providing an overall massage. These jets are commonly found in almost all hot tubs.3. Whirlpool JetsThis is a large round jet that provides a great deal of pressure in a small area. It is really beneficial for treating injuries like sprains or muscle fatigue. These jets are commonly found in therapy spas. For home use you may have to special order.4. Moving Massage JetsThis is a newer system that is quite elaborate providing oval jets that actually oscillate in the water either horizontally or vertically. While fanning they also pulsate providing a large amount of massage value especially to the back. These are the newest and most innovative jets and are quickly beginning to show up in many hot tubs.5. Shoulder JetsAre located above the water massaging the shoulder area. They are adjustable so that users of different heights are able to benefit from these jets.6. Pillow JetsThese jets provide a full neck massage. The neck is the most common area for tension to build up and by being able to custom adjust these jets for your own height you can quickly relieve the tension that is sitting in the neck area. Combine it with the shoulder jets and youve got the ultimate massage. Traditionally the biggest problem with jets was that one person controlled the action of the jets for everyone. Todays hot tubs are allowing for a lot more flexibility for individual control over the hot tub jets. Combine that with all the new jet types and youve got the ultimate experience at your fingertips.
