These sinks have a very large lip, sometimes up to 6 inches, over the counter surface. Then finally there are undercounter sinks. These sinks are underneath the surface of the countertop. Usually, they sink is flush with the bottom of the countertop, but this is not necessarily the case. The front of the undercounter sinks can be on the inside of the counter hidden by a front. Nevertheless, an increasingly large number of people are choosing undercounter sinks that even the front side of the sink is on the outer part of the counter. Usually, these types of sinks have a highly decorative design. When you shop for your sink, always look at the construction of the sink. There are many types of materials used in the fabrication of sinks.
