Understanding The Trampoline Bed

What does the bed you sleep in have in common with your trampoline? Bet your thinking I'm a little off my rocker right? Well actually they have plenty in common. That's why it so important to understand the trampoline bed.

Just as when you buy a mattress there are many things to consider to ensure you get the one that provides the most comfortable sleep you need to consider the bed of your trampoline in much the same way. Really it's the most important part of your trampoline.

Just as your bed has a frame so does your trampoline and although important it's not the most important element. Mattresses come in soft, firm, extra firm, and they come with all kinds of coil structures and all kinds of features. You normally spend a great deal of time finding the perfect mattress.

When you are in the market for a trampoline you should be shopping exactly the same way. You should not be just running down to your local department store and coming home with a trampoline.

The bed is the part you jump on and there are many different weaves, weights, and even materials all of which affect the bounce, the softness or hardness, how you land.

It's all about the criss cross when it comes to stability and equal bouncing. In fact competitions use no other type of trampoline than one with a criss cross bed. You also get a more controlled bounce with the criss crosses.

You should look for a heavier material that will last longer and provide a safer environment. The springs do work hand in hand with the bed so make sure you get the right combination for what you want to do.

There are many manufactures producing trampolines so do your homework and learn what each is offering and what the differences are. That way you'll know what it is you want to buy.

I'll give you a couple of clues - the rectangle trampoline is the best overall and the round is the most affordable overall. That said if you can save a little longer and go for the rectangle you'll have a far superior trampoline.

You'll have a safer jumping environment, a trampoline that will far outlive the round one and you'll be able to get the lift you need to safely do some great tricks.

Shopping online will save you a bundle. In fact it can make the difference between being able to afford a quality trampoline and a mediocre trampoline. So do be a wise shopper and shop online.

Your savings can run anywhere from 20% to as much as 65% depending on the trampoline size and make. That savings will easily cover the cost of all those other accessories you need to buy like the trampoline cover.

So when it comes time to shop for your trampoline remember that the trampoline bed is the equivalent of your mattress and needs the same amount of care and attention when it comes to making a purchase.
