Using Firefox Extensions for Web Directory Submissions and Form Filling

The greatest feature of the Firefox browser is that it allows a user to install third party extensions. These extensions are actually software applications that extend the usefulness of the browser - hence the name Firefox extensions.

There are many useful extensions available for download. You may be surprised to find that most extensions are freely available for download. You can use them for a wide variety of functions.

One of the most common browser activity is form filling. Usually, a user will have to manually type in form fields again and again at different websites. Online forms such as contact forms, survey forms or registration forms sometimes require you to enter personal information such as name, address, telephone number, and so on. The process can be very time consuming if the same information has to be entered over and over again.

Here is where AI Roboform excel. Although there are many other form filler extensions, AI Roboform has received the best ratings and reviews. It uses artificial intelligence to populate various form fields such as those mentioned above. Hence the initials AI in its name. It uses AES (advanced encryption standards), which is the industry security standard, to store passwords. So far, it offers the most intuitive user interface. That is also a version that can be run from a USB portable drive. That means you will be able to save all your information in your USB drive and use it on any computer while you are on the move.

Another example of a useful Firefox extension is the web directory submission extension. Mostly, this extension is used by Internet marketers or individuals looking to promote their websites by submitting the URLs to web directories.

Similar to form filling, web directory submission can be very time consuming as well. You are required to fill in your site title, URL, email and a brief description at every website. Imagine submitting your site to thousands of web directories on the Internet. That means having to type the same thing a thousand times over. Clearly, this process is boring and inefficient.

With the Firefox web directory submission extension, you can now save your site information in your extension. Each website is saved as a profile. Under each profile, you may then enter the website information required and select the most appropriate category. Note that you can also rotate as many deep links as you want.

You can add as many web directories to your extension as you like. The web directories will appear in the side bar, and you can check them off as you submit your sites. When you visit each web directory, you should see that the submission form is filled up automatically. If a field is not filled up, you can right click to select a field, then choose add input to fill it in with the required information (e.g. first name, last name, email, etc).

This is the ideal extension for web directory submissions because most web directories have Captcha code installed to prevent spam. Therefore, most automated web directory submission software do not work.

You can utilize such freely available extensions for your own needs without having to pay a single cent.
