When you get pregnant, the hormone levels in your body begin to change and that influences a lot of your body reactions. There are no less than 10 pregnancy signs that show even from the earlier stages of your pregnancy. From the moment of conception, the impregnated egg will travel for one week towards the uterus. Then these signs will begin to occur. Some experience only one or two, while others several of them. The 10 pregnancy signs are: 1. Light Spotting. If you get pregnant before your period to occur, you may experience some light spotting. This is different from the menstrual bleeding and consists only of a few drops of blood, pinkish or brownish in color. 2. Frequent Urination. The need for frequent urination is a sign that the conception was successful. It is caused by the human chorionic gonadotropin hormone or hCG and it is experienced about 7-12 days after the temperature rise at ovulation. 3. The Rise Of The Body Temperature. At ovulation, the female body temperature rises and when it is remains like this even after the ovulation, it can be a sign of pregnancy. 4. The Delay Of A Menstrual Period. This is a clear sign of pregnancy, but there may be other causes in the delay of a menstrual period, like illness, stress, hormone imbalance or reactions to medications. If you have a regulated period, then you may think that you got pregnant. 5. Tiredness. The change in the hormone levels of the body cause a certain feeling of fatigue. This tiredness can be experienced by pregnant women. 6. Cramping. The uterus contracts often, on a regular basis. Some cramping may be caused in an early pregnancy by sudden moves, exercise or orgasm. 7. Nausea. This sign manifests usually in the morning and about half of the pregnant women experience it. 8. Tender Nipples and Breasts. Another sign of early pregnancy is the feeling of tenderness in the nipples and the breasts. It usually goes away as the body adjusts itself to the new hormone levels. 9. Dark Areolas. A sign of early pregnancy is the darker color of the areolas, which appears along with more visible bumps. 10. Constipation. Again, the change in the hormone levels makes your body react. Your bowels are affected, becoming lazier. When you experience one or more of these signs, it is advisable to try a home pregnancy tests, in order to find if you are pregnant or not. There are different kinds of tests: a blood test can be accurate as early as 8 to 10 days after conception and a urine pregnancy test can be accurate as early as 10 to 14 days after conception. None of them is totally reliable, so if the signs persist, go see the doctor or repeat the test after another week. After you discover that you are pregnant, take care of you and your baby. Start eating healthy, give up alcohol and smoking and begin exercising. It is essential that your body is healthy even before becoming pregnant, but leading a healthy way of living from the first days of your pregnancy will mean a lot for you and your baby.
