What Does A Single White Rose Mean?

When words cannot be spoken, flowers can do it for you. For lovers, the most loved flower is the rose, and it has been, even from older times. While sending a flower, lovers actually send messages that only the other will understand.

A red rose is considered to be the symbol of love. Singles roses are often sent between lovers in order to get a message through, as shown earlier. These are few of the significances the single roses can mean:

- beauty is represented by a single purple rose; it is pure flattery to send a single purple rose to a woman.

- gratitude can be expressed through the meaning of a single pink rose.

- if you want to end a relationship, you can do it by sending a single black rose with the right message.

When you want to make a gift to your loved one, the single red rose is considered to be the best of all. Red roses were offered even from ancient times, when Romans sent such flowers. No wonder that the red rose was also a symbol for Venus, the goddess of beauty and love, and the flower has represented, ever since, the meaning of I love you.

You can always create a romantic atmosphere by spreading rose petals all over the bedroom. You can continue with this frenzy in the bathroom, in the bath tub, or over the house, to the entrance, when you are waiting for your lover.

A single red rose has many connotations. Poets used the symbol in their creations, painters borrowed it for artistic purposes, and lovers have used it since forever. When you want to tell someone that you love them, send a single red rose and that flower will make up for all the words that you may want to say.
