What pH Levels Can Do To Your Body

What we really are

We cannot live without our bodies, without all the complicated mechanisms that need to be run every day in order for us to function properly. The main principle that stays at the base of our living selves is electricity. The pulses are transmitted through our bodies, into the organs, into the muscles, interacting, creating an amazing net without which we wont be anymore. What causes this electrical power is the biochemical balance within ourselves, and the blood stream plays a major part in it. Here, the pH levels have the most important role.

Some basic things on pH levels

The values for pH vary from 1 to 14, with 1 being the most acid value, and 14 the most alkaline. We need a normal pH in our blood, actually an almost neutral pH, with the value of 7,35. Once pH levels are suffering and they modify, the balance that is based on our blood stream changes and the electrical power that keeps us alive is affected.

We need to maintain the pH levels in our bodies at normal levels. For this, we need to know where to look. You should know that acid is to blame when the pH is changing in your blood. Once the pH becomes more acid, the blood cells are forced through thinner and thinner capillaries, which affects our entire health!

If the blood does not flow freely through our bodies, we will have a lot to suffer. This is actually what an acid pH fights against. The red cells in the blood, instead of flowing apart from one another, and carry oxygen everywhere within our bodies, they tend to clump together, all because of the acid pH. When this happens, we are in big trouble.

The first affected will be the smaller capillaries. With lower levels of oxygen, our bodies will begin to malfunction. What happens next? The red cells in our blood die, and they release more acid, fueling the mechanism that poison us. We only need acid in the stomach, other acid is way too bad.

We function because of the electrical power in our bodies. We say that we consume our energy, and the source of this energy is the electrical power. With lower and lower pH levels, which means more acid, our blood cells die and we feel that we lose our energy. In order to prevent this from happening, we need to know what are the causes for this.

Why does pH become acid?

We are what we eat. This statement is also true, when we talk about the pH levels in our blood. The foods and the drinks that enter our bodies will have a direct effect on the pH in the blood stream. When you eat certain foods, your body will process them and they leave what is called an alkaline or acid ash. Alcohol, coffee, and too much protein will cause acid to increase in the blood. Stress is also a condition that can cause our blood to become more acid.

Taking care of your pH levels

The answer for getting better and avoiding your blood become too acid is within yourself. You need to make it more alkaline, but, for this, you will need to know which foods cause you this acidity. To evaluate such aspects, you will need to measure the pH in your blood, so you can compare with the ulterior results, after you eat certain foods. A simple saliva test will say a lot about your pH. By adding more alkaline foods and decreasing the intake of acid foods, you will help your blood get back to normal.

A very good and immediate solution is to drink a mixture made of vegetables. These are very alkaline, so they will help your body get better. They will be able to change your pH, and your health will improve.
