The Wheatlands Lodge: Most Popular Hotel In Lake District The Wheatland’s Lodge is a traditional place of stay in the Lake District. This family-run hotel has been there since 1860. It is one of the most visited Lake District hotels in Windermere. This Boutique Bed and Breakfast Lodge is set in a picturesque garden. The Lodge is located in the central village of Windermere. Windermere is a popular tourist destination in the Lake District with some excellent shops and restaurants as well as bistros dotting the area. The Windermere accommodation at the Wheatland’s Lodge is elegantly designed and is furnished esthetically. All the rooms of B&B Boutique are spacious and have wide windows. The rooms are en suite and have spar type Jacuzzi baths or walk-in shower. This excellent accommodation has all kinds of modern amenities to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. These include flat screen television, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers and radio. The Lake District accommodation has rooms that are provided with front doors that help you to enter and leave as you please. Guests can visit to different places around the area from the doorstep without the help of using a car. The hotel provides security service to its guests round the clock. The menu on offer at Wheatlands Lodge include the special piping hot Cumbrian breakfast comprising sausage, potato, mushrooms, bacon, tomato, beans and eggs. There is also an extensive table of fruit juice, toast, yogurts, fresh fruit, cereals, preserves, etc. The ingredients used are of local produce and this breakfast is also accompanied by a good variety of fresh coffee and teas. The tariff at Boutique B and B Lodge are different in different seasons and it also varies on the type of room that is booked. All your reservation has to be confirmed after depositing an amount of the first night stay. The amount is non-refundable if turned up at the hotel before 14 days of reservation. If the guest cancels his booking within 48 hours of arrival to the Lodge or else does not turn up or leave before the official time of departure, the hotel can claim complete booking cost. From the Wheatlands Lodge, guests can walk down to nearby tourist attraction of Beatrix Potter. On the way, there are some fine shops and restaurants lining the path. You can stroll through the Bowness to reach the lakeshore where the pier exists. You can go for lake cruises to Amble side or the Lakeside and enjoy the crystal clear water of the Lake that is teeming with colorful marine life. You can also take the steam train of the lakeside railway on Haverthwaite. Guests to the hotel can go for some excellent trips around the area. The area has something to offer for every kind of tastes and there are different trips organized to go to these places. One can get pick up and drop off service to the hotel. One can also visit the roman fort, which is a short drive away from the hotel. The Kendal & Keswick are close to the hotel. To buy some good clothes one can go to the Amble side.
