Which Are Colostrum Side Effects?
|
Colostrum consumption does not have side effects, but still some symptoms may appear. Some people may feel effects like those similar to the flu symptoms. What happens when a person consumes colostrum is that he or she experiences a flushing out of the toxins in the body. The organism may be taken by surprise and it reacts as mentioned before. Usually, such effects are only temporary and they fade out once the process of taking out the toxins is over. Another effect when consuming colostrum is abdominal discomfort and diarrhea. It happens when the intake of colostrum is too high and too fast. Doctors say that this effect is actually the process of eliminating the toxins from the body and not a side effect. It is best to see the doctor if you decide for a daily diet rich in colostrum. People with allergies to milk may feel other symptoms like headaches, muscle aches and stomach discomfort. You must take extra care in case you are suffering from hyperthyroid disease. There is not clear evidence of how the colostrum influences this illness, but there were cases when the disease had worsened after consuming colostrum on a regular basis. So, if you have hyperthyroid disease, go see the doctor before taking colostrum. When you have a wound or you have been injured, colostrum consumption may cause you experience pain located in the area of your body in course of healing. It is advisable to cut down the colostrum intake until you heal. Those enumerated above are not exactly side effects. They occur rarely and their action is only temporary. But some precautions are to be taken, especially if you are pregnant, you are nursing a baby or you take medication. Your doctor can decide what is best for you in such cases.
