Why Consider Burris Scopes

There are all kinds of telescopes on the market but if you want a quality scope that will last you need to consider Burris scopes. This is a company with a reputation around the world for their quality scopes.

The Burris touches the hearts of the men who founded and run Burris. You see they are all sportsmen who demand a lot from their own binoculars and scopes. But their involvement in the use of binoculars means they have a much deeper understanding of what's important and why.

They know exactly what type of binoculars to take out into the field for that hunting trip and they know exactly what you should expect out your rifle scope. After all it's important to have the right equipment if you want your hunting trip to be a success. And who better to help you then a couple of pro hunters?

One of the reasons for their success is that Burris starts with the highest quality glass around. Their glass is ground and polished to the highest perfection around resulting in crystal clear viewing. Of course that means it's not cheap but then if you want cheap you don't want functional and you don't want quality.

Don't let anyone convince you that you can have a quality scope for cheap. Yes, you can have a quality scope for an great price but there's a big difference between a good deal and cheap. You need the good deal because cheap just equates to junk.

High quality lenses cost money to produce and they cost money to sell. Thus to obtain that high quality lenses you are going to have to be willing to spend a little bit more.

Both surfaces of the lenses are coated with Burris's HiLume which is a multi chemical multi coating. It increases light transmission to a whopping 99.5% which simply can't be beat!

It would be nice if we could baby our scopes all the time but sometimes your scope is going to have to take some abuse and sometimes it can be quite violent. Well not to worry the tubes used by Burris are stronger than any other on the market.

All Burris scopes have a double internal spring force and repeatable steel on steel adjustment systems that have an audible click which will make it much easier for you to know where you are at.

Nitrogen fills each tube. This lab grade nitrogen is used to absorb moisture and the process of filling and purging the tube occurs at least 20 times which reduces the risk of moisture build up in the tube. Then the scope is sealed for life.

Burris is so confident in their scope and optics that they offer a lifetime warranty. Having enough faith to back something for life is a pretty loud statement about what the quality of this scope is.

And Burris rifle scope has a fabulous trajectory that is so easy to use and they come with 30 calibration labels so you can match your load. All you have to do is sight in at 100 yards at the highest magnification, determine your target distance, and then use the correct ballistic line.

Then there is the ballistic mil-dot reticle that combines a standard mil-dot with the Burris design that provides a lower vertical crosshair compensating for the bullet drop. You get dead aim from 100 yards to 600 yards and even further. Altar the magnification and make your own calibration mark.

Burris offers a full line of scopes for your riffle and a full line of binoculars for your non hunting activities such as bird watching. With Burris you'll get crisp clear viewing that will never let you down. And that's a result of their excellent quality lenses. After all this is a manufacturer that will settle for nothing less than the best for that's what their reputation is built on.

There are many scope manufacturers other than Burris but this is one of the top of the line makers that should not go unnoticed. Nikon, Steiner, Zhumell, Leupold, Celestron, Meade, and Monarch are just a few with a reputation for providing hunting and sporting binoculars.

Both marine and hunter style binoculars need to be waterproof and rugged. And of course high power is always recommended because when you are hunting your prey isn't likely to be near you. Both 8x42 and 10x42 binoculars are common choices and good choices.

And when it comes to scopes there also a variety of choices. Be sure to match up all equipment for optimum performance.

Whether you are looking for a great pair of binoculars, a new telescope to take in a little night sky, or a scope for your rifle to make that hunting trip that much more successful Burris Scopes has something for you.
