What often happened was that during the classic adult movies that were being shown in the public theaters, the movie goers would get riled up and would begin having their own little sexual interludes right there in the theater..with total strangers. Thanks to the VHS though, the people could continue to get their fill of classic adult movies in their homes, with a regular partner, which of course put themselves at a much lower risk of contracting AIDS. People could now enjoy their favorite classic adult movies at home, anytime they wanted, and from that point on, the classic adult movies genre was guaranteed longevity with a special place in the hearts of pornography fans everywhere.
