To become a doctor, a student must attend a four year school undergraduate program before applying to medical faculty. After being admitted to medical faculty, a med student must study and attend educational classes for another 2 years. Additionally, med students are required to take part in clinical revolutions for another 2 years. Ultimately, a prospective doctor must partake in what is known as residency, or a supervised training period of three to 7 years completed for the specialization in a certain field of medication.
