While many people forfeit hope and push themselves to advance with their lives, others permit the pain to take them down into the deep depths of depression and hopelessness. The truth is, almost any and every situation can be fixed no matter how bad it has gotten or how bad the two of you may have felt or behaved towards one another. The principle underlying this supposition lies in the essential reasoning that once you have loved someone so deeply and cared for them with so much passion, it is out of the question to you will not sense anything towards them. Even if you have anger, betrayal, hurt or distress as a result of the bad times you had, it is fatal that you will keep on caring for them. The same holds true for her or him. No matter how bitter they seem towards you at the time being, there is going to be a day, and it will be soon in all probability, when they remember the times you shared and understand that they miss you and perhaps the good times outweighed the bad. It is at this moment that they will recognize that the happier times are possibly more important than continuing to fight over other issues. So, the first step to undoing the harm would be to recognize that no situation, no matter how damaged, is completely hopeless. Recognize up the possibility of being able to to work towards reuniting with your lover, because nobody can tell what you might overlook on if you don’t even attempt. If you have decided to take up the task of building your relationship anew, the next thing that you need to do is prove your ex that you are still worthy of loving. Your ex might still be clutching onto some pain and hurt and the chances are that if you try too hard or too soon, you might finish up causing the rupture between you to become more pronounced. So, you should behave in a dignified and collected manner to demonstrate them that you are mature, cool and capable of having a mature relationship. While you might feel that desperate times call for desperate actions, the truth is, rush behaviour at this moment will only serve to convince your ex that you are incompetent of having a life of your own and therefore, incapable of maintaining a life together. So, be cool, behave moderately and live your life a little away from theirs so they can value you as an individual. Construct a new life while you are apart from your ex. Even if it’s hard to continue with your life normally, you must make an effort to live your life to the fullest without the person. You may want to mope around forever, but after you have admitted yourself some time to accept the reality of the break up, it is essential that you begin to get on with your life. Meet people who you are close to, have fun with friends, get interested in activities you cherish and take up projects to make you busy. This way, you will find things to distract you and you will be able to develop and grow as a human being. It may not seem so now, but individual growth will prove your ex that you have a interesting and fruitful life even without them and it is sure to make them wish to be a part of it also. And if your endeavors to get them back do not work, you will not be confronted with a nonexistent life, but rather you’ll have a promising new one: full of people, activities and opportunities.
