Have you ever felt that a place is so familiar that you may have actually spent some time there in another life? perhaps some of the people that you meet seem to be familiar before you even get to talk to them? When I do a past life reading people often say to me that they have had at least one of these experiences. A past life reading is not to be confused with past life regression where you visit a hypnotist who takes you back in a hypnotic trance to a past life. You do not get a past life reading with a hypnotist you recall in your own mind your past life experience. The hypnotist may ask you about names, dates, places and experiences and record this. In my experience of doing past life readings I notice that each individual story of the person’s life reveals a theme, a way of being that they are working on in the present day. In this lifetime they have the chance to work through past life issues and focus on addressing past karma. People often ask me if there would really be any benefit of having a past life reading because they want to know about their future. I say to them that their past life is their future because the past life is the foundation towards growing and changing karma towards enlightenment in the future. Karma is a very complex subject with so many aspects to it and it has significant relevance to past lives. There are links from memories which reside in the soul and for every action there is a reaction, if you do a good deed then one will be returned. Karma is usually about relationships with those around you and the emotional responses and deeds resulting from those experiences. A past life reading is done in a similar way to a psychic reading, however, the information seems to be given to me as flashbacks. I am suddenly shown a lady in a costume relating to a period of time, I am shown dates, and even items that I have never seen before. I keep those in my mind and sometimes the person who is having the reading knows what they are and other times I have to enquire to my guide to find out what they are. I am shown scenes which sometimes can be happy and sometimes they can be sad. Quite often the sitter can relate a past life reading to a dream that they once had or even a recurring dream. It is as if this is on the tip of their mind and has to come out in the reading so that other aspects of their past life can be revealed. The past life reading can take some time to cover all of the relevant detail and often the sitter feels a sense of release after the reading. Often people describe it as a cloud being lifted and as if a wheel in their life suddenly starts turning. Many feel that they have addressed an aspect of their past which assists them to reach their potential.
