why one hotel won't satisfy everyone
|
Accommodation belongs to one of the most important factors which have to be considered while planning a holiday. Undoubtedly, holiday makers’ satisfaction depends strongly on the quality of the hotel and its service. It is also vital how the actual conditions match expectations, which the guests had at the time of booking. It’s difficult to imagine a place we’ve never been to relying only on a few pictures and a brief description. Other people’s comments may be helpful, but there’s always some air of uncertainty about travelling to unknown places. Since we do not know the people who leave comments about given accommodation and we are not aware of their likings and preferences, we can’t really guess whether this particular hotel will satisfy our needs and expectations. One offer may seem great for some people and unacceptable for others – it’s a matter of personal likes and dislikes only. When we compare hotels a main criterion is the amount of money we are able to spend. What some people will classify as a great deal may be too costly for holiday makers having a limited budged at their disposal. After limiting the amount of offers to the affordable ones, the choice has to be made about the facilities. There’s no use paying for facilities we are not going to use: three swimming pools of various sizes will not impress a person who can’t swim and is afraid of water. A hotel offering many attractions such as evening entertainment, concerts and parties will do well for young people who enjoy nightlife and want to revel while on holiday. Old-age pensioners who look for peace and quiet – especially in the evenings – may feel disturbed and uncomfortable in such a place. By the same token, a hotel lacking special attractions for children will not be recommended by their parents who had to struggle with bored and impatient children all holiday long. For holiday makers who prefer listening to the crushing of the waves to screaming children, a hotel unpopular with families with small children will make a good choice. An offer may look fantastic for some holiday makers but it won’t do for all – the same hotel may get different opinions, sometimes even extreme, depending on people who express them. Needless to say, when making a hotel comparison it’s vital to pay attention to details. Ensure that the hotel you choose offers necessary facilities that will make your stay most comfortable and satisfying. Other people’s comments are a rich source of information that is very unlikely to appear in the official description provided by the hotel – they contain personal impressions and opinions, which can be very useful but also misleading for people looking for bare facts. Reading these comments carefully and critically may help many holiday seekers find a place which will fully match their expectations. About The Author: Find out more about comparing hotels !
