Ball Bearings Magnets You may not have given much thought to the matter, but there’s a good chance that ball bearings are used in many of the products that you use and enjoy each and every day. For example, if you happen to enjoy inline skating, you might be surprised to know that your skates just would not function the same without ball bearings. There are actually a number of different kinds of bearings, but the ones we hear about the most often are ball bearings, even if we may not always be aware of some of the most common uses for ball bearings. Magazine Subscriptions – The Way to get Every Issue! People in this country love magazines. That is the only explanation for why there are so many of them, anyway. There are magazines out there for virtually every conceivable topic and interest and, while many of them are quite famous (Time, Newsweek, Playboy, Rolling Stone, Spin, Ladies’ Home Journal, Readers’ Digest, etc), there are plenty out there that you may never have heard of but which enjoy a healthy circulation nonetheless. When, for example, was the last time you saw a copy of Nature Photographer or Birds & Blooms in your local grocery store’s news rack? These are both actual publications with advertisers and readership, the whole nine yards of slick, glossy paper and full color photographs. If you can’t just go and pick these up at the local corner store, though, how are they getting into the hands of the readers? Those readers subscribe. The Effects of World and National Events on Bestseller Lists If you happen to be a person who frequently chooses your reading material from the bestsellers list you may have noticed over the last few years that current national and world events have a tremendous impact on what makes the bestsellers list. Now, this is not to say that bestsellers lists are tweaked in order to reflect what happens to be going on in the world at the current time. They are actually based on sales data relating to transactions of books in comparison to particular market segments. However, historically speaking, books about current national and world events typically stand a better chance of making the bestsellers list than other books.
